There is lot of research on the exact effecs of CBD oil in the body. In these researches CBD is connected to the following side-effects;

How is CBD oil made?

There’s different kinds of CBD oil. The difference between these products is the substances it includes, next to CBD. MariPharm CBD oil is produced using the most pure form of CBD isolate, in combination with a carrier oil. Isolate contains isolated CBD crystals where all other substances have been removed.

A different form of CBD oil is a broad or full spectrum CBD oil. This is a form in which an entire cannabis extract is used. The cannabis extract also includes other ingredients, such as other cannabinoids or terpenes and in the case of full-spectrum possibly traces of THC as well. Sometimes certain substances will be removed from an extract, to be added again later on.

Is it safe to use CBD? Are there side-effects?

In 2018 the World Health Organisation (WHO) released an advisory rapport on CBD. This showed that people tend to respond well to CBD and it’s safe to use. Reported side-effects thus far seem to stem mainly from combining CBD with other medication, according to the WHO. If you use medication, it is advised to always consult the use of CBD oil with your general practitioner.

How to use CBD oil

Our CBD oil comes with a pipette with which you can dose the desired amount of drops in the mouth. Keep them there for a little while before swallowing the drops. We recommend taking your CBD oil during or immediately after a meal. Studies show that this will maximise absorption of the CBD. We’ll tell you more on this page.

The amount of drops you consume, the correct dose and when you take CBD oil is different per person. The most important thing is to gradually increase the dosage, to make sure you find out which dosage gives you the best results. We would like to tell you more about it on this page.

In Europe, cannabis laws vary from country to country. According to EU-legislation CBD products are not allowed to contain more than 0,2% THC. This applies to all EU-countries, including The Netherlands. MariPharm’s products comply with this legislation and on top of that MariPharm has an opium exemption. That’s why MariPharm’s CBD products can be purchased and used in The Netherlands. If you plan to travel, we advise you to check local rules and regulations.
